MobileMark 30

MobileMark 30 is an application-based, performance-qualified battery life benchmark designed to assist users in making PC purchasing decisions. Since the inception of MobileMark, accurately and objectively measuring battery life performance and responsiveness has been the benchmarks’ core value. In addition to reporting battery life, unique to MobileMark, the Index provides an easy-to-understand composite score that factors in both performance and battery life.

The new battery estimator allows users to switch among three battery charge test levels to quickly predict battery life without performing a full run-down battery test. This means there are no incomplete runs, dramatically accelerating testing before committing to an entire FDR run.

The new professional module is designed to focus on the activities of the modern mobile office user who seeks to remain productive while on the go. These activities include spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, PDFs, image manipulation, file compression, decompression with encryption, and file launches. The Professional scenario is available today. Professional is the first of a series of modules that will be released. Future modules will expand the scope of MobileMark 30. Customers will receive all modules as they become available at no additional cost.

Using only unmodified retail versions of real-world applications for measurement, MobileMark 30 Professional features new and updated versions of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop without costly separate purchases or lengthy installation time needed for individual installation. This ensures fair and accurate comparisons across multiple systems without worrying about test variations from different application versions.

Please note:

What qualifies for upgrade licenses?

Any BAPCo 30 benchmark qualifies for the upgrade pricing. You may upgrade to a different license type. For example, you may use the upgrade pricing if you have a small business 25 and need a Corporation 25 license.

If I buy a PRO license do I need to purchase a subscription each year?

Subscription renewal is optional. If you do not renew your subscription, your license automatically reverts to BASIC, and you lose all the benefits of a PRO license. You cannot renew your subscription once it has passed the grace period. A BASIC license is perpetual and allows you to continue using the last version of the downloaded software for as long as BAPCo supports it.

Does the PRO subscription autorenew?

No. The registered end-user or the original purchaser will be notified to renew.

Can I just purchase upgrades from the Basic edition?

Yes, with the Basic edition is eligible to purchase future releases of the software at the upgrade price.

Does the Advanced license include software upgrades to later releases?

No, you will need to purchase the 30 series at the upgrade price.
